Spaghetti Bolognese

With the Easter holidays approaching, it's time to plan your holiday menu. Easter is not only about chocolate eggs and sweet cakes, but also delicious, healthy snacks that kids and adults will love. If you want to balance the holiday table and offer your guests something unusual, try making unsweetened Easter treats.

Ingredients
  

  • 10 ounces Ground Pork and Beef Meat
  • 3.5 oz Bacon
  • 1/2 Onion
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • 1/4 cup Tomato Paste
  • 8 1/2 ounces Spaghetti
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 Olives for Eyes
  • 1-2 Tomatoes
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1/3 tsp Peppercorns
  • 1 Slice of Ham to Serve
  • 1 tsp Coriander
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • Cooked carrots, green peas, quail eggs as desired for garnish
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Start with the onion and garlic. Peel them and cut them into small cubes.
  • Pour 2 tbsp. of olive oil into a skillet and heat it up. Add the onion and garlic and cook for a couple of minutes. Cut the bacon into strips and fry along with the onion and garlic
  • Stir in the mince. Cook it by breaking up any lumps. Dice the tomato and place in the pan. Add the tomato paste 1/2 cup of hot water, salt and spices. Stir sauce and cook over low heat until thickened and cover. You will need about 25 minutes. The sauce should become homogeneous.
  • Place the salt, peppercorns and bay leaf in a pot of boiling water. Add the spaghetti and cook as directed on the package.Drain through a colander and add 1 tbsp. of olive oil. Place the spaghetti on a serving plate in a circle - the head. Form the ears and paws. Add olives eyes and ham nose. Carefully pour in the hot sauce, garnish the dish with quail eggs, peas, ham hearts and cooked carrots.
